Mounting aid for double wedge gaskets
This mounting aid is used when mounting a glass pane in an aluminum frame with two wedge gaskets. It keeps the glass pane in a firm position until the second wedge gasket can be inserted.
When using two wedges, the glass is just loosely placed in the profile and is moved laterally as the first wedge is inserted. This is when this smart tool comes in handy! It keeps the glass pane in position until the second wedge gasket can be inserted.
How to:
The tool is mounted in the aluminum profile on one side of the glass pane and then the first wedge is mounted on the opposite side. When the first side is ready, finish the other side as you remove the tool and insert the second wedge.
